It points out the ignorance of some people. Caps are great for lower powered systems. Me, having a very electronic background, knows that there is no way a Cap harms anything but your wallet. Yea, it's not gonna do shit on a 2000+ watt system, but for anything less than that, it's definitely going to help save your alternator and other electronics from the voltage drop. Not everyone wants or needs a competition sized build, therefore not everyone needs a trunk full of batteries and a rack full of alternators.
