Decaf
it can take 2 sub level clicks down from full tilt without smelling at all... dustcap obviously gets warm but it handles it like a friggin champ about 144/45 at the headrest in my car peaking around 30hz biggest thing is don't clip it and it can take it, its a pretty standard 8layer 3" coil but motor/basket have great cooling which is why they are so darn beast

tlh_360
Sorry it took so long to get back but I went ahead with all your suggestions and stripped my entire trunk to find my absolute max dimensions and came up with this: Height=16.5", width 32" and depth I want to stay behind the trunk lid opening, (if that makes sense), so depth 20". The box is 3.35 cubes, 52.5sq" port area, 15.66sq" of port area/foot, tuned to 33.44hz What ya think?
carlosg_313
you can tune it a little higher. it can still hit the lows. i got my pair(with night shade parts) in a box tuned to 38 and can still play in the low 30s. edit - on the port, put the width 3.75, and the length of port to 24. still around around 16^3 of port, 3.40^3 net, and tuned to 37. BUT THAT IS AN IDEA. in the car, tuning can still be dropped. Edited July 2, 2012 by carlosg_313 Quote How do the Japanese feel about bass? You know that since 03/11/11 Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.
