john253a Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 I can't check out the tune or box yet But you'll wish you tunes I'd lower then 36 I can't quite remember the exact figures but you'll see a +5-7db gain over 35-42hz more then any other freq. And I has a sharp incline and decline to suit All the box if done for others are 32-33flat, with no complaints My own is 32.5hz and I love it
carguy6702 Posted June 27, 2012 Author Report Posted June 27, 2012 54 x10h x7/14d Or 54 x14h x7/10d That what have yes 54"L x Width 7 top x 10 bottom x 14Height
CleanSierra Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 54 x10h x7/14d Or 54 x14h x7/10d That what have yes 54"L x Width 7 top x 10 bottom x 14Height My box is W-56" H-14" TD-7" BD-10" as well. I'm tuned to 33 for a couple of 12s. After port displacement I'm at 2.00 cubic feet net but I plan to overpower the shit out of my subs so I'll be fine. Ray on this site(he's a big badass) had luck with a box that was running 2 8s in a regular cab of our same year. He had 2 4" aero ports firing into the passenger side B-pillar and I think it was hitting a 143 or so. Not bad numbers for 2 8s with nowhere for the air to go. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
john253a Posted June 27, 2012 Report Posted June 27, 2012 Done some figures with a 14h 5td 11bd you'll have to put the subs 7.5" from the bottom to have enough clearance due to the motor size With a single 4" aero on passengers side 17" (18 overall) you'll have unloading issues in a 36"width and clearance issues as well You have 2 options 42x 14x 5/11 with a brace in the middle(same as sides) acting as a baffle between port and sub, with both subs in driver side and port to passengers, divided by baffle But only bring it up about 6" from bottom Also he 4" aero is 7,25 in dia and just fits through the side of box at bottom and will just touch the bottom and 2 sides without cutting Second option is 44x 14x 5/11 Double baffle front Other then that its the same, still requires a side baffle 5-6" in front of port about 6" up But the inside flare of port will need some trimming to acomadate the the double baffle front Idd draw it for you but I'm not home, If your willing to wait till same time tomorrow I'll be able to help out Also my cal should put you at 1.4-1.5 net at 34.5-35hz Amd the v2 are 0.1 and not 0.8cuft
carguy6702 Posted June 29, 2012 Author Report Posted June 29, 2012 I was thinking of having a sub behind each seat and port thru the side of box facing towards the doors, or a port in the middle of the box.

If you can draw it out that would be great.
john253a Posted June 30, 2012 Report Posted June 30, 2012 Can't draw it till 2morro this time, not at home
