detroitdb
Unbelieveable!!!! Ive been running 3 amps without using a relay. I never thought it was needed...WRONG... Ive had this annoying buzzing engine whine noise.ive installed several systems and usually the noise comes from a bad ground rca's etc.. I checked everything, looked to smd for any ideas...I came across the thread about relays and i started to think??? remote turn on wire does just that it triggers the relay on each amp individually...so if theres not enough current after turning on the first 2 amps it will give it a partial on hence creating this annoying sound....So at my witts end i took a piece of hook up wire one end to the positive post on my batt and hooked directly to the whinning amp and presto!!! buzzing gone.....So i ran out and bought a 40 amp relay with a 5-gang dist.block and not only the noise stopped, i am getting a much cleaner output across the board.......so anyways i thought i would post this if it helps anybody....
