Sweet! One of the next things I'm doing to my truck is upgrade it's electrical. Would it be possible to fab this for a Ford 5.0L V-8? I really have no need for a 270 amp alternator, and would like to save some money if possible!

A mercury mountaineer, 1998 5.0 v8

The all billet unit would not be applicable to your mountaineer, plus it is one of our highest cost units- not what you would want to do if you are looking to save money. We do have a 220 amp unit for your truck that is very reasonably priced, and is a direct bolt in.
