xf1v3xf33txf4tx Posted June 27, 2012 Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 I have 2 kicker comp 12s that run off a kicker zx750.1 and they all of the sudden dont want to play hardly at all. Some times they will hit once when I turn my car on or off. And it seems as if the subs are not workin when I turn the car off the sub will "growl" after about 10-20 sec. xf1v3xf33txf4tx Posted June 27, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 i took a look at the speaker wires to the subs and found that one sub was running at 8-10 ohms and the other at 2. And I tried to figure out the growling noise and noticed that the subs will pulse once very slowly if it got a signal from the head unit(turned the key on fast and turned it on and nothing happened) and it sounds more like a scrapping sound.
