the title says it all, yep i know its a small budget, but lets see if any knowledge here can help me pick, and no im not going to buy sony or any other walmart brand >.>

i got some single voice coil 300 watt rms s series powerbass 12" subs off amazon for like 92 bucks shipped for the pair and they sound really good on just 600 watts. there a super great buy for subs

I got a P1 15" for $90, wouldn't recommend it. It's the 2007-2011 model and the New 2012 P1s are worse, less Xmax and are muddier. The RE REX 8" I got for $50 shipped sounds waaaay better, much better balance and much less distortion. Also JBL GT5 series subs are pretty decent but they like big boxes. Like the RE they will dig lower than the RF entry level subs.

I disagree that all subs for $100 sound about the same. That's like saying larger subs play lower or an 18 can't produce tight bass.

2007 Pacifica
Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Just get 2 kicker comp 10s, for under 100 they'd slam in a good box.

When I say slam I mean slam for under 200$ ha

Are you going to run a prefab sealed?

If so:

Going to give you some recommendations on subs i have actually heard in person and not online.

Go Kicker CVR, works in both sealed and ported and will sound really loud compared to many in its price range. You can also port them and get a lot more bass as well as get them to sound better.

other option is audiobahn AW1251J natural sound series subwoofers. Yeah i know audibahn but these in a sealed box with 400rms to each hit just as well and sound just like the kicker cvr series and its very cheap right now. This one can actually take some power but it has to be a clean 4-500rms.

Also pioneer champion pros get loud and sound decent off good clean power.

Ported:

American Bass xd 12. Can take like 750rms and you get a good sound and a very loud bass similar to an audioque sdc2.5 but cheaper

other option audioque sdc2.5
