which ANL fuse to get? does it even matter?

Recommended Posts

Those are the ones I use.

Note about using large fuses: If your wire shorts out, it will blow the fuse faster with a smaller fuse than with a larger one

I wire them with my amp loads. Even tho I have 2/0 wire that can carry over 300 amps of current I fuse a 150amp ANL fuse before my skar 1500.

Right on, HJ

My new amp(in sig) will require a 300a inline fuse so I'll have to switch everything to that. All my fuses are 200a right now, in accordance with my AQ2200.

You'd probably be fine running a 200 anl fuse for the rockford amp. If not move up to 250 but you definitely dont need 300.

the way I check is 200x14.4=2880 watts

250x14.4=3600 watts

I only run 150amp fuses cause I don't need much more. 400 amp fuses are dumb for 1/0
