rfaudiomustang
is the system "girlfriend approved"? wait... doesn't matter what anyone else thinks what do you plan to do about the port then? She hasn't said anything good or bad yet. Once it's on full power I'll give her a demo and see if it'll do a good hairtrick As far as the port goes, I think I might go a bit smaller and a few inches deeper. We will just have to see what happens. rfaudiomustang
Going to address the port problem tomorrow and hopefully get everything taken care of. There is no way that those subs should be bottoming out on 1 T2500 that is not clipping. New port is going to be what fosgate recommended to begin with. 100 sq inches, 12 inches deep. Tuned to 30 hz. I figure that dropping 25 sq inches and 4 hz of tuning should take care of the problem. Might give up a little bit of output, but it will allow me to run more power so it's a tradeoff. rfaudiomustang
So I have an update for you guys. Box was fine, nothing was broke, I had a sub that was DOA and was freeairing and the bottoming out like crazy. I'm getting that swapped out and I should be good to go. imfrom210texas
nice work man, keep it up If Morgan Freeman narrated a story on how great AIDS is, I would be captivated and tempted to contract it myself. His voice just fills my soul with warm fuzzies and puppy tears. He has NO idea and may have a touch of autism to be honest. Is this guy real or is he joking? i actually mistook him for a lesbian in that demo video Wanted to mess around with a box for the garage. Was thinking 4 6x9 in 4 cube at like 30 hz... These are the things that make me lol
rfaudiomustang
So... apparently we only sell P3D4's... I need D2's. So I might be out of luck for awhile. Looks like I gotta send it into Fosgate and wait to get a new one back. Probably a week to a week and a half to get it... alaskanzx5
did you think of making it an external port at all? not sure how much room you have between the seats and the wall but an external port would give you more volume for those subs seeing as to how the wall looks a lil small on the volume side for 8 12's... i think most shops only carry the d4... t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
