CleanSierra
Yeah.....the biggest baddest 18" would be the cheaper option, plus you have the cone area advantage. I'd look into the DC Level 6, to be honest. Not to nuthug or anything, but they can handle a TON of power. The cool thing is, you have so many coil options to choose from, you could get exactly what you wanted from your amp by choosing the right coil configuration. We KNOW you know how to build a badass box, so that won't be an issue. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

goldeneye4564
IMO. Go with your preference. I use to have two 12s but they were pioneers... They hit like 6x9's. However, I was in a buddies malibu about a week ago and he had two SA 12s on a rockford 1500.1 and they were pretty loud. His legal TL score was 140.1 and his box was not tuned at all. My legal TL score was 144.9 with an 18" BTL n2 using an audiopipe 1500 mini.......... I like really low low low bass the kind of bass that makes your car look like spaghetti in videos... My spl teammate also runs a similar setup to mine but not a pussy amp and he said he wants to trade his 18 for a set of nice 12s. Now knowing him, he wouldn't trade at all if he didn't think he was going to get more SPL. So he must know that two 12s can become louder then one 18. Do I think two 12s are louder? I couldn't tell ya, but my 18 is loud enough for me lol. I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. HAD TO USE DROPBOX NOW HOLYYYYYY. Wanna ride bikes? AMI CUSTOMS
With power you have I would do 2 12s, but they would have to be either 4 inch coil or a Neo motor. One 18 isn't gonna handle 6k+ unless you want to drop $2k+ for that 1 18. alaskanzx5
ive looked through it and im sure its fine but im just saying if you save a little money going with 1 option then the other you could use the saved money to upgrade something else and i personaly would prefer a much bigger electrical then what is needed. atleast then the next time she wants to upgrade to more power she wont need to mess with the electrical. besides i also suggest the sound stage, and its all just suggestions. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
