Barrett is not the king of the hill, FYI.

I had the 82,95, and 99 all at the same time. They are good rifles but by no means the best built. You get what you pay for.

McMillan the best bang for the buck. EDM and Chytac don't have the history.

Accuracy International for the win.

Sick rifles rolex.

Thanks!

those look rather heavy.

Not the rifles gramps would take in the woods during deer season.

Here's an ammo comparison for ya. A fully loaded .50 round next to a can of coke.

A .50 projectile next fully loaded ammo from L to R:

S&W 500 magnum

7.62x39 (AK round)

5.56 (M16/AR15)

.45

you got the 500 magnum also? I know the .50 caliber rifle is a much larger, heavier and more powerful round then the .50 magnum, but which one would make a bigger hole in a person?

The .50 BMG by far. It will rip a person in half.

you know the drill people

the only way to find is to test it, but not on people. LOL

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

It's all about kinetic energy on soft tissue

At 100 yards a .50bmg has 12,000 foot lbs of energy as opposed to the s&w's 1900 foot pounds at the same distance.

Next time your the lake pick up two rocks close in size. The 1st one just let fall out of your hand into the water, the 2 nd one wind up and throw full throttle into the water. That's the difference.
