I got all my 0 gauge ran today! The only issue right now is that I'm still waiting on my fuse blocks to come in the mail, so I'm still running off a 4 gauge power wire...

Took out the seats and center console

P1150608.jpg

This is the kind of mess that I didn't want anymore

P1150610.jpg

You have to take out all the trim panels just to get underneath the rear cargo area...

P1150611.jpg

New ground location. It's where one of the rear seat belts bolts to, and it's under the cargo area so it'll be nice and concealed

P1150613.jpg

4 gauge vs 0 gauge

P1150614.jpg

From the battery...

P1150619.jpg

P1150618.jpg

And down by the hood hinge

P1150620.jpg

From there to the door hinge

P1150617.jpg

Here's the grommet where I'll be running the wire into the cab

P1150615.jpg

Cut a hole in the grommet

P1150622.jpg

Then into the cab!

P1150624.jpg

It comes straight in by the kick panel and then it go right under the door sill.

P1150626.jpg

Ran all the wires into the cargo spot behind the amp. This is normally where the jack and stuff would go, so I need to figure somethin out for that...

P1150630.jpg

I cut a hole through the cargo area to run all the wires out to the amp

P1150632.jpg

Lookin a bit cleaner...

P1150633.jpg

It's a miracle I got all the trim pieces back on right...

P1150634.jpg

Stupid 4 gauge...

P1150635.jpg

Vacuumed it up a bit

P1150637.jpg

And here's how it's gonna sit until I get the fuse blocks in and can actually use the 0 gauge power wire.

P1150638.jpg

That's all for now!

Soo, I'm still waiting on my fuse blocks (Monday is the last day usps said they would arrive), so still no 0 gauge power wire haha. However, I did gain quite a few rattles after pulling out all my panels and putting them back in. Deadener is starting to sound more and more like a good idea every day...

Here's a little video for ya. My truck flexes a little more than the camera shows (which really isn't that much)... but hopefully this will hold you over til I get it all complete!

Fuse blocks!!!!

P1150667.jpg

P1150668.jpg

This one is going right by my amp, it's mounted inside the amp rack

P1150669.jpg

With the cover on

P1150670.jpg

The amp rack does a decent job concealing wires... I also painted it black with Plasti-dip

P1150671.jpg

Nice mess of wires...

P1150673.jpg

P1150674.jpg

It all looks clean though!

P1150675.jpg

P1150676.jpg

Old vs. new

P1150677.jpg

Here's how it will be with the big 3 fuse block. I'm a few feet short on wire to get my big three done, so that will be the next step

P1150679.jpg

All hooked up

P1150683.jpg

For some reason while I was installing my 4 gauge, I thought it would be a good idea to run it through my dash. I had to take out my deck so I could get my hand back there and feed it out bit by bit...

P1150680.jpg

And back to normal!

P1150682.jpg

So that's what I got done today!

I've decided that I'm going to start saving up now for the Fi, instead of the battery (which will be an XS Power d2700). This way, I can get the sub and run it at 4 ohms to break it in. Then once I have the money for the battery I'll be able to wire it to 1 ohm and run it full tilt with no concerns! :slayer:
