Alright so i've been slacking, had these pics for a couple days and forgot lol

Decided to shorten the shell by 3.5". This gives me a solid floor to screw the back wall into, also giving me enough space to add extra backing to the wall once i'm done.

Broke an "impact rated" bit. Made it through the entire build up until the last couple 2x4s lol

IMAG1483.jpg

Started foaming the wheel wells, the voids in the upper corners and anyplace else that needed to be filled

Put the ceiling in when it started to get dark out. Was also getting frustrated for some reason, not really sure why. The ceiling panel ended up not being 100% square but it's in there. I might take it down and remeasure since i have extra lumber laying around.

Almost time for the sub face placement and loading wall sizing.

  • 2 weeks later...

So, if all goes according to plan, i'll be putting in the sides for good and making the baffle. Baffle will be 3 thick of birch so it should be stout. There will also be some front to back bracing inside the sealed part to make sure there is as little flex as possible. I guess it's time to get building lol

Thanks guys! I went out to do some measuring for the sides and it started to rain lol. I have my measurements atleast so i can lay them out on the birch and start cutting on my next day off. It looks like i might have to get atleast one more sheet of birch to finish, but we'll see how it goes.
