Finding The Middle Of A Circle?!?

When you make your cirlce use that drawing tool that has a pencil on one end and a center punch on the other and youll have your center dead on every time. Dont know what they call it?
i believe its called a drafting compass...

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

It will work but it can be off by a BIG margin

That method is called tangent...

now i don't know if anyone here has tried to make a line tangent to a circle but if you aren't tangent to one of the circles sides you will NOT be on center...

Bisecting a chord is the best way to find the diameter and the most accurate...

how exact did you need it? every box i built was marked just like that wether it be 2 or more woofers. cannot be that off, besides we still talking about car audio?

now i don't know if anyone here has tried to make a line tangent to a circle but if you aren't tangent to one of the circles sides you will NOT be on center...

IMO you dont have to be perfect, you just have to be close, unless your trying to calc space for 30+ subs in a flat wall the human eye hardly notices a 1/8th inch differrence
