DD recently re-did these and within the last month or so they've been shipping. OP what is the size on this bad boy? The new M4a is larger than the previous M4a(now called the M4).

The new M4a is larger than the previous M4a(now called the M4). that is not correct. the M4a is the M4a. the M4 which was discontinued was the M4 and did around 4-5k. they are bringing th eold M4 back in 3 weeks. the M4a will stay current. sorry for post dump. gotta set these things straight for your sale. What I was told by Jack from DD is exactly what I said. The older M4a is now called the M4 which is the smaller housing of the two. The new M4a with the beefed up internals and larger housing is the new M4a. I double checked with him just yesterday because the pricing confused me.
