ChillMasterWill Posted July 25, 2012 Report Share Posted July 25, 2012 where all my old school bass heads at? back in 1993 me & my homie JT used to ride around boomin in his Grey 89' 2 Door Chevy Cavalier "bo legged" out w/the Chrome Hammer Wheels, Clarion CD player, Pioneer 6.5" fronts on a Clarion 20x2 amp, Pioneer 6.5" rears another Clarion 20x2, Clarion crossover, 4 KICKER Freeair 12's(yellow Kicker logo on dust cap) mounted infinite baffle 2 firing into the back seat, 2 firing into the rear deck powered by a PPI Art Series 600.2 amp now that's old school, for what it was back then it was loud, my cousin had an IROC Z w/2 EV 18's powered by a Kenwood 1021 amp what you know bout those amps? I had a KICKER 50si amp on 2 8 ohm Comp 10's w/a Kenwood KRC-1006 tape deck, this is why I'm in audio to this very day, LOL, don't even get me started on the old Orion HCCA'S, US Amps, Soundstream Amps, Rockford Fosgate Punch Series Amps/Subs, the original Cerwin Vega Strokers, MTX Thunder Series Amps, the great SQ setup of 3 10" or 3 8" JL Audio subs, Image Dynamics Compression Drivers, colorful EQ's, I know ya'll had some old school gear, tell it... I also had a 85 Camaro IROC Z28 back in the day ... I think 2 Blues Car Audio 12s free air in that one ... And a Black 91 Chevy Silverado with 2 Blues Car Audio 10s on the same 90 watts of Class A/B power that was in the Mazda ... Then we cut the wall with 4 15s and LOTS-O Linear Power amps ... Most of that got stolen ... Also, this Chevy was one of the FIRST extreme Low Riders to ever hit Jackson, Mississippi ... All of my competition stereos competed install, sound (stage and image), RTA, and SPL ... Flashdance Baby !!! Yes, those were the days !!!
