Also, i have been trying to contact Iraggi Alts, by call, and they have not gotten back to me yet, so if any1 has any advice of how to come in contact with them plz leave... andym85 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 tuning has to do with port area and the length of the port. for a given box a longer port will lower tuning and a shorter port will raise tuning with the same amount of port area...there is an equation for it that looks intimidating but isnt that bad...check out the enclosure thread i have stickied in the sub section and their is a link in the first post to my tuning calc. as far as getting ahold of dom...good luck!! his alts kick ass but he is damn near impossible to get ahold of...just keep trying and be patient... Heres the set-up im probably going w/: A 3sub wall containing: 2x 12' type r (dual 4)\ |> i decide to go w/ this b/c the req. for the enclosure are small and can fit in the trunk easily 1x 12' type r (dual 2)/ Hifonics BXi 1606d (1600 "claimed" watts rms 1ohm) Hifonics Bxi 606 (600 "claimed" watts rms 1ohm) clarion 7band eq any 4pre-volt+ deck The type of car is an 08" Hyundai Sonata... with a pretty big trunk lastly, i would like to know what size alternator i should get to be able to play my music loud at idle speeds.
