BEEMDUB
Just finished putting some finishing trim on the wall in my charger and I go to take a final video, so I put the volume on low and my rca level knob was at about 2/5...Everything was working fine...Subs were playing amp was on all normal etc...So then I restart the song and turn the volume up and turn my rca level knob all the way (so full tilt) for my video..Bass hits...plays for about 5 seconds then cuts out COMPLETELY...to avoid suggestions of solutions that I already have done heres a list of what I have done 1. Checked amp is getting power and made sure voltage is the same before and after fuse 2. Checked subs...All connections are intact and final load reads 1 ohm 3. ATTEMPTED to check rcas with dmm...I put the negative to the outer shield and the positive on the inner pin read nothing.... Did it too the other rcas to my 4 channel and they also did nothing so I may have been doing something wrong? HatersGonnaHate
And you check the RCA's with the head unit on, so you can read the voltage of the signal coming through it. bassface
I would bypass the rca level knob to see if it is the problem. Edited July 29, 2012 by bassface

HatersGonnaHate
Yup. Like bassface said, take the bass knob off and check the signals coming off those RCA's.
