Alternator whine in speakers HELP PLEASE!!!

Ground the sheath of your RCAs to the casing of your head unit, and ground said casing if not done so already.

Double check all connections, and make sure your RCAs are both shielded(optional) and not running next to or near your power wire

ground the sheath to the head unit. What does this mean. I'm sorry to post jack but I'm having the same problem. Could you explain what it is you mean in depth please. Sorry if I'm dumb.
