Ladybridgeport
I am making a ported enclosure with a changeable port from SPL to SQ. Someone I work with recommended using lizard skin to line the inside of my ported enclosure to gain 3 dB. Wouldn't that add friction to the inside of the box and sound crapped when listening to music for SQ? Anyone opinions from their experience? Blue
Lizard skin is like second skin spectrum. It's a liquid sound deadner you spray onto the vehicles surface. I dunno how well it would work on the inside of the enclosure though. Quote formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks
mttornquist
I laughed so hard when I read this but was kindof disappointed to learn it was an actual product rather than actual lizard skin. I dunno how well it would work on the inside of the enclosure though. The guy I worked with used it on a sealed box and got a 3 dB increase, but worried that it would create drag on a vented enclosure Edited July 31, 2012 by Ladybridgeport
n8ball2013
i wouldnt do it. you want to make your box completely smooth? is that what you are going for? if thats the case use a latex paint.
