dl9890 Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 What is everyone's thoughts on the Fi Subwoofers. I'm looking into getting a 15" Q or maybe a BTL for my DX1000.1(2011 model) Quote
SnowDrifter Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 I'd pick the q for that power level. The btl would be a waste of money for your needs Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

8ight Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 I wouldn't even bother underpowering a Q with that amp, the SSD would be plenty. Quote I'm gonna hate
bkolfo4 Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 My wife's car has a 12" Q sealed on 800 watts in the trunk. Awesome SQ and loud. . . dl9890 Posted August 5, 2012 Author Report Posted August 5, 2012 I was looking at the Q or BTL because I am possible getting another DX1000.1 in the future. Quote
john253a Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 def get the q, it an sq monster, gets down and loud, but as said before Quote
xx1 Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 you can't go wrong with Fi. go with the Q's Quote audio related merchandise (decals, banners, lanyards, hats, shirt, etc)

The BTL (even the N2) will take way more than 2kW. so stick with the Q if you want your sub to move lol. Quote I'm gonna hate
