Ive got 1 skar 12 on my saz-1500. It takes it all day, wired at 2 ohms, i'd say gettin about 900 watts rms to the sub, and it takes it no problem. Any of the brands listed will suit your needs, but i would stay away from the type r's personally. so much better can be bought for the same price or less

well i have to say my Type R's havent let me down.

they absolutely hounded and tore my car apart on just 1k.

i got them for $150 each off of amazon, so if you can tell me subs that are better than those for less than $150 ill be surprised.

just need some nastier subs to take my new found power>:)

true, just like i can say skar isnt my preference either haha.

but anyone else? i've watch a LOT of video's on youtube and the Fi ssd's seem more like SQ subs to me.

any other suggestions of some great SPL subs ~$200-250 range?

checked and the ssd 12's fully loaded is 478 for a pair. I dont remember if it was here but someone pointed out that internal leads aren't good because if you send a large amount of power through them they get hot and cant cool properly, potentially can cause a fire. please dont quote me because i have no clue if thats true.
