Tim Lam
Ive got 1 skar 12 on my saz-1500. It takes it all day, wired at 2 ohms, i'd say gettin about 900 watts rms to the sub, and it takes it no problem. Any of the brands listed will suit your needs, but i would stay away from the type r's personally. so much better can be bought for the same price or less well i have to say my Type R's havent let me down. they absolutely hounded and tore my car apart on just 1k. i got them for $150 each off of amazon, so if you can tell me subs that are better than those for less than $150 ill be surprised. just need some nastier subs to take my new found power>

Tim Lam
true, just like i can say skar isnt my preference either haha. but anyone else? i've watch a LOT of video's on youtube and the Fi ssd's seem more like SQ subs to me. any other suggestions of some great SPL subs ~$200-250 range? Tim Lam
the Fi' website also directly states they would prefer the ssd in a SEALED box, which also leads me to believe it's more of an SQ subs. more input and suggestions would be welcomed! thanks

RAM5493
checked and the ssd 12's fully loaded is 478 for a pair. I dont remember if it was here but someone pointed out that internal leads aren't good because if you send a large amount of power through them they get hot and cant cool properly, potentially can cause a fire. please dont quote me because i have no clue if thats true. DustinBolt
if you are only going to be running a bc2k on 2 ssds you will not need fully loaded. fully loaded you could run like 1500 a piece to them with no problems. 1997 BMW 528i Fi ssd 12 6th order box Build Log- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/144835-rebuild-in-the-bmw-6th-order-time-update-1113/
