right now i have 10 sheets of second skin amplifier pro on my roof. i still have some crazy roof flex with my new 18's should. i do a second layer or to save on money would running a cheaper type of deadener as a second layer be a good idea if at all?

Did you use any Great Stuff expanding foam between the roof and the supports? I'd do that before you add more deadener.

Deadened isn't really good at stopping flex, that isn't what it's designed for. It's purpose is to alter the resonance of the metal.

The deadner won't stop the flex. The more you add the more it will slow down it down to a point. Really to stop it all together, it will require some bracing.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
