My cousin and I are about to build a box for the 4 15's he wants to put into his Tahoe. Now the problem comes in on deciding on which of the 2 styles he has access to. It's either 4 cvx's or 4 l7's. I know that are pretty much the same but I hear the l7 's move more air and play harder?? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Not interested in other subs so please stick to the topic. Thank you!!

Get the CVX ! Round subs will be easier to replace when he want new subs.

Don't know much about the CVX though.

The L7 loves huge enclosures, sealed or ported.

What kind of box will you build ?

black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp

OEM head unit, Amplifiers Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3  ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

lol just because the CVX is round doesn't mean it's easier to replace. Kicker is still the only company that can recone a kicker sub (to my knowledge anyways)

i suggest something with a more standardized setup. like SA 15's. they're proven and their recones are dirt cheap

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

i dont think hes referring to reconing. I think ehs referring to replacing when he realizes he wasted his money on them

edit..

$429 per 15??? shit you can spend half that and be better off. but if that's your budget there's a lot more out there for that price
