I also think any 6 series nVidia would suit just fine, but i would prefer the 7970, from what i read most people say the 7970 does a little better???? not sure if thats right, because i know that the GTX tends to outperform by a few % on the more popular games, but Crysis 1&2 ATI takes the cake, and a few other games. And despite that fact that a 670 can come with a 4gb, compared to the ATI 2 or 3GB, and depending on what your doing 2GB should always be enough. I know that first hand, I had a gtx 460 and switched to a 2gb 6950 and let me tell you the gtx 460 was much less a pain in the ass. And it was cheap imo. The ATI suits me just fine anyway and does all i could ever ask too.
