OldsBoomer
Ok guys ive got a camper top now and have my system narrowed down to two different setups... for both the current amp will be 1 BC5500 until crescendo makes a bigger amp or i buy a second one. Now the choices are: 4 18" Fi Q 4th order Or 4 15" Fi Q 6th order... what do you all think i should do? Im leaning towards the 6th order myself Quote Suburban Coming Soon
SlamminSL1
I'd do the 6th order as well. mrd6
Build your shell first for the size of the 6th order but dont build into it initially. After building the shell, try different alignments of both 4th and 6th order designs and see what you like the best. Make them removable and then once you determine your favorite you can install it permanently. Thats my plan when I rebuild at least. OldsBoomer
Id love to do that but i would need to have atleast one 15" and one 18" sub built to do that. I dont have that much money to use on recones or that would be the way to go for sure Quote Suburban Coming Soon

ALPINE408
Well the 6th order has the potential to be louder they almost all have a really small bandwidth vs the 4th order bandwidth that done well plays really flat I would do a normal ported wall if it was me Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown?
