SnowDrifter
Here is what I get. The box will be a tad smaller and the tuning a tad higher once you factor in driver displacement. I'd add that in, but I have no idea what the displacement for the type Rs are. This is assuming the rear of the 'L' is half the width of the front. If it's the same width, you are tuned even higher. Ugh yuck. Your best bet is to do a new box ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

SnowDrifter
Yeah, I wouldn't even pay the materials on that. Whoever built that should build you another one. PROPERLY. At no extra cost to you. It's not even a little off on the measurements - that's like full blown separate box ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
adam6604
looks like the box is a complete waste of time for a daily box then huh. hopefully i can work something out with him and get a new one built. STEvil
You could build an external port to screw onto the face to drop tuning, flare it for fun even. Take it off for some decent SPL scores, put it back on for nice lows. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. adam6604
haha would that work? if so, ill get him to do that for me next week. he wants to try to fix it for me after the weekend. if he can do something like that, that could drop tuning i'd be happy. but if not ill just ask for my money back .lol Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi.
