I didnt a few years ago when I first started putting my own in...but it always seems to come out alot easier if you tugged on em. All the amps I've owned recently have been the same style like sundown or dc uses on their amps with an allen or philips head and I prefer it. I guess I just expect a show or shop to want to make it as clean as possible. They do seem to hug alpines nuts. Is pretty awesome they actually explained what the DD-1 is for..maybe some of their viewers will buy one.
