john253a
We need to no Car Sub/port orientation Your current box you say is 6.9, we need meserments and port size and length, You not have them in what you think there in, After this the help you get will be less speculation and more factual And idd also what to look around for a better amp, one with a lower peek and higher rms ratting, Idd want something like tha sax 2500
budah93
why would i switch amps when the bre series puts out a rated 1600 rms. I would notice much of an audible difference unless i doubled the power to 3200 right? also subs are firing up port out. the port is 15" by 6"
severancej
How long is the port? CleanSierra
why would i switch amps when the bre series puts out a rated 1600 rms. I would notice much of an audible difference unless i doubled the power to 3200 right? also subs are firing up port out. the port is 15" by 6" Port out to where?!?!? Who designed and built your box? As said previously, is this a 6"aero port? If it is, you don't have NEARLY enough port for your airspace. Best suggestion to get louder: Build a proper box for the SA's and feed them 1000 watts UNCLIPPED to make them wake up. Tune Around 35 Hz with 10 sq inches of port per foot for an aero port, or 14 sq inches of port for a slot port. There's your answer. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. budah93
its not an aero port? it's a slot port facing the back hatch. Most people understand that when i say port out
budah93
also i have 90 square inches of port area. they are getting 800 a piece i simply just want louder. the box is well build. my electrical system is good to support the amp. I"ve just gotten use to the sundowns. I've had them for almost a year and want something louder
john253a
because your information is very vague, off the little info you have given this is what it looks like you have, and if its the case no wonder its not loud. idd suggest 110" of port @ 7.5net 37hz
budah93
box is only 6.9 cubes. I'll get you the actual dimensions give me a second
budah93
36 wide 24 deep 16.75 tall. the port opening is 15x6. and yes those are accruate. People tell me the port can't be 15 but the guy that built it used 1" wood on the bottom and 3/4 on the rest
john253a
how we get to the truth, you sub perform like shit, because the box is crap, that box is what you should use on 2x sa12 not 15's it only big enough for 1 15" ive even shown the same box with a higher tune and still no go, if you payed for that box, idd want my money back quick smart, they should have never sold or recommended that box, a single sa15 in that box would be louder you dont need new subs you need a real box,
