Boarhog35 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Hey anyone here run Skar vvx 10s? If so how loud do they get? I am running 2 vvx 10's in a Ported box tuned to 32hz and I doesn't get Loud. It has a Skar 1500 watt amp and I am using a new clarion cz702 radio. Any pointers or wires that I should check? What should the amp setting be set to? They are wired at 1 ohm. I am thinking a bad wire because I have heard that skars play clean and loud.

Boarhog35 Posted August 25, 2012 Author Report Posted August 25, 2012 It's is a dual voice coil and it's wired to one ohm. The subs are 4 ohms.

I am trying to figure out if I missed something while installing the subs. You know alot when It comes to subs and Wiring and thought that you could help. I didn't know if there was a common problem with sub wiring that would affect The subs.
C-Fizzy Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Do you have a digital multimeter? If you do, unplug the wires going into the amp. They should read 1 ohm. If you wired the subs wrong at all those wires won't read 1 ohm. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
