I have access to some 1/2 thick plexiglass at work that is scrap would this be thick enough to seal up a 39"x14" port or would I need to double up on the plexiglass? Is there a way to glue them together like a clear glue or something? My plan was to seal up my old port with the plexiglass and paint over it with bedliner but I was going to put logos of what I was running and you will be able to see through the logos and the box will have leds. Also the biggest thing is I don't want any resonance coming from the plexiglass if this won't work I'll just seal it with mdf but I'll have to buy a new sheet... and I don't have the funds currently. Any help is appreciated thanks guys.

I could brace it with some aluminium flat bar and lots of screws if that's what you mean

You can buy quarter sheets of mdf, you dont need a full sheet.

Can you buy it like this at lowes because I've only seen full sheets before...

Would it make a difference if it was lexan instead of plexiglass? I heard you can use clear silicone around the edges and if it's airtight it will be okay also what screws would I need to use on it would drywall screws be okay and I will put glass mat around the outside edges once it's in and after I see how it sounds. I can also brace it with some flatbar if needed I will only need to see through small portions where I will be putting the logos.

Lexan is stronger than plexi, so that is a plus. If that is what you are asking.
