Also cost a lot if you can't find a deal on it. What about the DD CM600? Or even the SS1B, bad ass little amp. CleanSierra
OP, the Kenwood being discussed is FAR from the best option here. They indeed get hot at 2 ohms, and won't go below 2 ohms successfully. If I were you, I'd look into an older Fosgate P6001, or 5002 that will do the power at the ohm load you're requesting. Something like this: http://www.onlinecar...ch_P6001bd.aspx Or this: http://www.onlinecar...ch_P6001bd.aspx I've personally run both those amps in the same build and they worked beautifully. I ran the 6001 to my subs, and the 5002 to my components. both the links are the same I fail at copy and paste apparently. Here's the 5002: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2204_Rockford-Fosgate-P5002.html Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Here's the 5002: http://www.sonicelec...gate-P5002.html I love amps like that P5002, old school 2 channels, that put out the most power at 4 ohms. I had a old MTX amp that died on me that was like that, had so much power in that little thing. Omega5002
If you can find the 500/1 for a good price, I'd take it, very good quality amp, which is really the thing I like about JL Audio, is their amps. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
