IKnowImLost224
When building a sealed box, how do you tune your amp as far as LPF and Subsonic?
Jessica
I would put the infrasonic/subsonic at the fs of the woofer and the put the lpf at whatever sounds good to you. going above 80hz may let too many vocals through, just experiment. You can lower subsonic if you like and don't have issues with bottoming out. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. Jessica
Just remember that with a sealed box you won't be able to smell the coils if you are overworking or clipping the subs. OrionStang
Don't need a subsonic in most cases with a sealed box. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Jessica
I agree to, but it's not my equipment and i'd rather he start safe and go from there. Joe X
Subsonic only if the box is way large for most cases, doesn't hurt either, set it to 22Hz or so, LPF depends on your front stage, try around 60-80Hz and see what you like. R James Trapp
rockford fosgate says to turn the infrasonic filter off when using a sealed enclosure. trust me, ive been all over this as i only run sealed. high frequency can affect the sound output on a vented enclosure so they say to use the filter when running ported.
