bdog Posted September 14, 2012 Author Report Posted September 14, 2012 you'll just have to replace burnt/missing tracks with suitable thickness wire... either insulated, or just tinned copper wire. of course, it'll never look as pretty inside, but if you don't display your amp guts anyway, it's not going to matter you would not want this in your car or house this thing stinks real bad!!!! I build circuit boards to compete robots and there is no way i could fix that... that amount of damage present on that board would have created a shorting point within the board and that is hard to fix. And if the board is melted anywhere forget it! And if the board is melted anywhere forget it! It's a 2 layer board? there are tracks on the top layer, and the bottom layer, I'm not sure what you mean by "shorting point within the board"? Once you've cleaned the black off the board, you'll realise it's not as bad as it looks... sure, there's probably at least one hole through the board and a few damaged tracks, but nothing that isn't repairable
