Months past after reading forums learning from SMD I then had 2 10s within a proper enclosure on 3k . Way louder than the 4 15s no questions ask ! The people here saying they blew subs with small box, let's face it . You guys were clipping and passing f3s . Ive put a 12 in a box for an 18 and had no problems.... . I think u messed something up No. I had a 12 in a box that was like half the air space required. The box was way to small. STL.Don Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Well one thing you may also want to look at is 2 10's. It may not look like much, but the numbers can be impressive. And this gives you more room in your trunk to do many cool things with your amp(s), box, and other speakers or even plexiglass stuff. That is just what I would do if I had that car.
