Look around on the for sale section for some good deals. And I say start with headunit, then if you're happy with your current stock speakers. Go sub stage until your stock ones are no longer enough for you.

Did you typo your own username? My suggestion is to slowly piece together your system.

Start with a good headunit. I suggest pioneer, kenwood or alpine. I prefer Kenwood and the eXcelon units to be more specific. Once youve installed that, get some door speakers. I'd suggest a 6.5 component set for the front doors. Get a rear set of coaxials or components if you prefer. Then get a decent 4 channel amp for the front and rear soundstage.

At THAT point you should get a substage and your sound will keep up. For your space 2 12s would be just fine for starting in a ported box tuned to mid 30s. Brand doesn't really matter at this point. I'd search around and see if anyone is running any of the equipment that the forum likes, for example, DC, Skar, Sundown, Fi and so on. The prices are good and performance will be phenomenal if the box is built correctly.

Biggest part of the install will be the quality in which it is done. Biggest important thing for me to have a good sounding system is SOLID electrical connections and a well thought out and built box.

I am alright with my current audio with my speakers which are aftermarket Sony's, but I will upgrade later down the road. All I am really just looking for some bass and better head unit. Anyway, what does that $700 cover? Just subs and amp? Subs, amp, and head unit?

You know what I mean. Well, I thought about pushing to $1000, so I could get something a little bit better than with $700. I'm going to use the $1000 for the amp and sub(s)

Weirdest combo of equipment I've EVER seen suggested. The JVC Arsenal is a good bang for your buck that's for sure(built by Kemwood now and 4V preouts). The audiopipe is junk, CHEAP, but junk. As for the TC, another great choice and under the radar too. You might as well suggest he tries his first build as a T-line or 4th order too?

Keep it simple OP, getting a good HU, followed by wiring, door speakers, amp for door speakers, wiring for Big3, wiring for sub amp, sub amp, subs, and box built correctly IN that order. Stick to a simple ported design at first either using a slot(L-port) or aero ports(which are just round ports with flared ends). PVC works as well for a port material.

Well for a 700 budget, you can get some obsidans or American bass TNT for like140ish , now about the box it should run about 70-100 depending on wood and supply cost it would run more with fiberglassin it,the amp you can buy a name brand for 300 , but the 1. is ELECTRICITY , your factory wires will not do enough ,do the big three in 0ga, maybe a second battery (if your aalternator can handle it.) That budjet should run 700-800, without head unit. But one key to save is buy used equipment, like your wire maybe a amp, **but for the subwoofer brand those two was the two on my mind there is others but its to early to think.
