looking for info with regards to extended cab rangers (or other small trucks)

Ok, heres the deal. I am wondering if it is even possible to do this.

I would like to do a 150db minimum with two 12's wired for 1 ohm to a single amp that has a 4 ohm rating of no more than 600 watts. subs in the cab, the amp can be in the bed.

If its not possible call me crazy, thats ok, i get wierd ideas in my head at times.

Ok, heres the reasoning behind this. In idaho, the vast majority of comps (all unofficial, testing in the middle of the dash at windscreen windows up) have 3 main catagories: 0-600, 601-1200, and 1201 and up.

So, what my thinking is, is that IF this is even possible, then there would, for the most part, never be another "louder" setup at one of these events lol

I know i know, its silly and strange, but then I am also really curious if it is even possible.

Again, if I am crazy just let me know and I will leave it at that.

anything is possible. look at USACi and see what amps they allow, they go by odd power classes too.

That would be a hell of a feat! Lots of 12s use a ridiculous amount of power to break a 50 but its usually from a trunk or other odd place. I'd think if you would need a 100% burp box with endless amounts of testing to make that happen.

That was about what I was figuring it would take. Which takes all the fun out of a system to me. since i use em mainly for daily driving.

it would be entertaining, the best i've done with the windows up is a 141, windows down 147 (both at center of dash)

Lol jk, I'm sure its possible, the best i've done when I had my ranger was a 144.6db. Not impressive, but not so bad IMO.

If they are using an older TL and metering in the right spot you'll have a much better chance. Local a 46 on the TL was a 50 on the AC

I can do 150.2 out of the trunk with 2050 watts, I also play music with it, it just doesn't like the super lows. If you can get a real 2000+ watts, I think it is very doable.
