go with the Pioneer h u, you will love it.

I'd look into other subs though. Sundown, SSA, DC, Fi,... Take your time.

black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp

OEM head unit, Amplifiers Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3  ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

I may be totally wrong but isnt that how all crossovers work they just attenuate out the frequencies you do not want? Isnt that why you have adjustable slopes so you cvan change how fast it lowers the volume of that frequency so while one speaker is cutting those frequencies the other is ramping those up and you get a nice blend

CDT subs are more "musical" than the ones he listed ... Not quite as "boomy" so to speak ...

And I agree, if you want "louder" bass verses more "musical" bass, then I would also steer away from the CDT sub drivers ...

Can't wait to see how you like the cdt's that might be my next purchase, those or the new sundown component set
