SnowDrifter Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 Well, I've had my DD-1 for almost a year now and the thing gets more use than I could have ever imagined. Whether it be tweaking my own setup, helping a friend, or lending it out a team gatherings - it has performed beautifully. I just used it on my own 4 channel and a team mates sub amp. The actual gain setting process is straight forward and pain free - set the amp to full pass or adjust the crossovers accordingly, unplug the speakers, stick the probe in there and adjust the gain using the desired tone as high as it will go without the little red light coming on. It has proven itself to be great in the field where I need to do some last minute tweaking and I can get an amp fully set in less than 5 minutes. Would you believe me if I said it is still running on it's first battery? Haha And I also want to express what great customer service D'Amore has. Juan has been very helpful in taking care of me when I had some BIG amps to set and broke the thing a couple times. This is definitely a product I would recommend if you have some cash burning a hole in your pocket or are looking for your next upgrade. It's relatively cheap(compared to an o-scope or blowing subs/speakers), easy to use, and works very well.
