Car audio amp home use?

Recommended Posts

I wanted to get a cheaper used amp for my room. Is this. More cost affective then buying a pro audio/home plug in amp? I was lookin at a 5ch amp on ebay that does 1k sub plus 60x4ch. What kind of a battery charger go I need and what size battery? My spare sub I have is 4ohm so ill probably just see 500 watts sub wise.

Thanks

no. you dont need a ton of power for home audio. enclosure is key. yea if you want a club in your house then get 1k rms but 2 towers with 100 watts to each true rms will do it and like 300 on a sub. if you wanna go big go 500 on a seperate amp for the sub. or just design 2 subs into the towers.

Would do better than anything you'll piece together at a cheaper price than trying car audio gear.
