So all it does is change the flow. I cant really explain it. Except it doesnt suck like a gain knob. lol. draper Posted October 7, 2012 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) I like mine... It may not be 100 percent accurate but i use it as a reference point. Song's bass notes are at different starting amplitudes. So say in one song the note might be at -3.3db and another song might be at -1.7 So your total unclipped volume is going to be different with different tracks. I have measured mine with the dd-1 and it seems pretty consistant.
