I'll tell you now, my advise would be to wall off on eight 12"s on about 4,000 watts. Proper budget of around $3000. Start saving. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Simply asked what would you do. Perhaps someone wanted to prove naysayers wrong and build a crazy cheap burp box? I'm sure you have seen builds where constraints are little to none and that when done properly cheap brands can get loud. As stated earlier sony xplods not my idea but realistically it could be done. or as you stated save money, buy some really good 12s, wall it off on 4,000w. It is a thread made out of curiosity seeking opinions. Thank you all for the input thus far!
