i haven't competed in years, but for the few that i did, i NEVER saw a Florida plate in Cali (at a stereo comp anyway). Its just too far. I drove to Kansas City for world finals in '04 and i swore i would never do that shit again. Way to far. And that was only half way to Florida. Put it this way, my entire family lives within 10 minutes of Daytona Beach and i won't go there for any reason, let alone a show. Just to fuckin' far. LOL

I know, she had little worries when it came to show expenses. She told us a story about multiple tire blowouts that had on the way to a SVR show once. Cost her a few thousand bucks to get the tires fixed to make the show in time.

If you arent prepared to deal with things like that, you're gonna have a bad time.
