Loudest vehicle in the world runs Kinetik (Craig Butler hitting a 181 db!!!) I have yet to see any very detailed and unbiased tests of the top battery manufactures and who is better. If I saw a head to head test comparing one battery to another in a real world situation measuring real world voltage and current draw from a system, then maybe I would believe it. Until then I will say all the AGM batteries are the same. I only have personal experience with XS D3100 and Shuriken BT20's and they both seem great. They are not the same battery so I can not do any conclusive tests with them though. I think if you stick with one of those 3 brands you will be fine. I am pretty sure you do want to go to a 14 volt system though for your daily driver. They charge at 16 volts or higher and im not sure if the rest of your car will like that. May want to ask around in the electrical section if anyone has advice about that. yeah I asked around and it was told to me that xs power 14 volt batteries and spoke with someone from xs power and they informed my that it works ok with the other vehicle components but he only explained that it was without the boost of voltage from the vcm so have to do a abit more inquiring Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tip n tell Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 MY wife has a sunfire and she can do 150+ out of the trunk with 1 dc xl 18'' and a 5k goliath ... 2 batts 200 amp alt... tuned @ 38hz and with 2 5k amps 153+ and was easy to do... all done in 2hours..
