That1Kid Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 Using AVH-P3300BT (4v preouts) head unit Crescendo BC5500 Knukonceptz karma RCAs (Checked them, they look fine) LC-1 Gain knob My maximum unclipped volume was max (40/40) when we used DD-1 for my last build. Now it shows constant distortion above vole 9. Gain is all the way down. I'm using my flash drive for the DD-1 Tracks. I had to convert them to 320kbps...I know this isn't ideal, but my flash drive wouldn't recognize the original files. Maybe this is part of the reason? Idk.. Or maybe my head unit is screwed? I don't have the harness to plug the RCAs into the dd1 all you do is plug the RCA into the DD-1, you have an aftermarket deck. I dont see why you are doing it through the amp.
