Witney181
There is no such thing as a trunk wall. No matter how bad you want to be able to say you have a wall you don't. Hence the reason I put " " I know it's not a wall. It's a box built to fit the contour of my trunk and seat and then sealed inn with sheet metal and lots if expanding foam. That's why I put "trunk wall"..... Vote for October SOTM. Tim Lam
when you fire the sub woofers forward you seal it from the trunk so that any bass doesnt go back there and just stays in the cabin, hints why there is no trunk rattle but if i have it in the back seats, theres no bass going into the trunk anyways.... Well, ignore everyone whos tried it and do it yourself. Why do you need the scientific answer? Knowledgeable people have given you the answer and you're like the little kid that keeps asking "why, why, why?" fecupe2001
box placed on the back seat sucks ass unless you seal everything good and do some extensive work on that area itself like fristosaregood did, for me, it´s a complete waste of time, box on the trunk it´s enough if you know what you are doing, hell you don´t even need to seal it off, i wonder what terry brocks would feel about this lol I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Guest
because my friend stuck 2 kicker l7's on the backseat of his Ford F150 and it was painfully loud. so what the difference? why does it sound so loud in a pick up truck, but in the cabin in a car it would sound bad? trucks and cars are different. there is your answer. you CANNOT compare the sound in two completely different vehicles.
