Chris Lamp Posted October 16, 2012 Report Posted October 16, 2012 I have a 95 Nissan Maxima and I'm trying to build a box for 2x DAD bd 15's in the trunk facing forward. My maximum dimensions are Height-17" Width-38" Depth-27". I'm using the Torres tuning box calculator and the only things I'm having trouble with are the displacements and the port along with any other helpful tips. Thanks

You may not be taking into account that a box that's 38 inches wide is only actually 36.5" internally and so forth on the other dimensions. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Chris Lamp Posted October 16, 2012 Author Report Posted October 16, 2012 ok I was doing the outer dimensions, I just built a box that fit into the opening of the trunk but just by a hair, but it's too small so I might have to build it in the trunk, (I had an open topic but it must of got deleted)

The box will be too big so I'll have to build it in the trunk. Can I get some ideas of boxes, I tried using the Torres box calculator but it's clear I have a lot of learning to do.

You won't have enough room left for the sub to do what it needs to do and with that amount of room your limited to a pair of 12's comfortably in the trunk without choking them.
