So I suspect a dead cell somewhere :/ Now I gotta take out 6 group 31's and 1 group 34 and test them individually. Lots of fun. Looking forward to see how the new build goes for ya! LOL I bet that wall was a bitch to take out! I swear, walls are easier to build than take out lol. Good to hear your alt is good though. Did you get a custom bracket made to hold that giant alt in place? I would like to upgrade my alt from a 200 to a 300+ but its going to take some fabrication to get a bigger alt to fit. That is going to suck ass having to test all those batts. Hopefully its just 1 and not multiple. That wall was a royal pain in the ass to rip out. I built it really strong and since I built it from the inside it had to be cut and crowbar'd out without damaging my car. It may not look like it but I'm still trying to take care of this thing lol. It all cleaned up pretty nice though and all I'm left with is a few scuffs on the headliner. This is a BEAST trunk build. Those HDC4's should really start moving on ~3500s apiece. I'm tuned in for sure! Thanks man. The HDC4's have 4 inch coils and stiff suspension but these 3500's are freakin wailing on these subs. I think thermally they will be ok but I just hope they hold up mechanically. Pioneer builds some amazing boxes I couldn't believe how big the motor's were when I first took them out of the box. Fattest ass of any 12 i've ever owned that's for sure. They look even bigger in person. And yea I've probably read through every one of Pioneer's builds and its just outstanding work. I built my wall and have built many boxes in the past, but I figured this time around I would explore my options and see what he could do for me. I live in a one bedroom apartment so I don't have the tools or space to build a nice box. I built that entire wall with nothing but a friggin jigsaw at my mom's place. It would have been nice to have a table saw and my own garage. Someday... I went with the level 3 enclosure so Itll have all the bells and whistles. Here is the mock up.
