A few from today...didn't get as much done as I'd hoped :(

Sealed the passenger side top of the horn and started laying down a few batches and the driver side will be the same and then the filling begins upto the factory roof height like the front...

I'd be worried about thar roof flex, bro

Lol...yesterday I got up on the caged area (above the front seats that's built to height already) and jumped up and down lol it was fun. I have been thinking about a stripper pole to the top of the windshield tho...it will still flex a good bit..

It should be ok but I dont want the very front of the glass to crack from the windshield flexing and moving the front of the roof where it's thinner. Idk, a pole would be a pain/in the way tho....ugh we'll see.

Got a good bit poured on the top of the horn today...things are really starting to get rollin...

Got the sides sealed and started pouring in resin, sand and mat mix...

IMG_0336_zpse472e721.jpg

Poured another batch near the center...

IMG_0338_zpse6e97709.jpg

As I saw my second 5gal bucket of resin dwindling I decided to start throwing in some filler since this will already be the strongest part of the roof...so rope will be added as filler and wont really hurt on strength either since it's pretty absorbent stuff..

Poured a bit more before calling it a night...

^The last batch didnt have mat mixed in. Just sand and resin.

And have a bit more...may dig around the garage some more for cloth and rope that I can add...

All I noticed was AQ20....continue.

Just throw anything you go into that resin on the back won't matter much with how thick that shit is goodness lol. "Hey Jon what is your roof made out of?" ,...."Beer cans and resin",..... "Seems legit" LOL

Thanks guys but no updates right now due to weather...it got pretty cold here quickly and I have a couple enclosure builds to do and finish one. And with winter here for good I'm no big hurry to get it done since I wont be driving it much at all for 4 months or more. :(
