FamilyB4Others
I have 20" inch wheels, 20x8 and it rubs(bad!) when I have passengers in the back. I plan on adding another 12 inch sub meaning its going get really bad if I don’t find a fix. It used to rub with just me driving so I brought spring spacers (not so safe) and it stop the rubbing. But now I plan on having passengers and my audio system. I have no money to buy new set of rims with different offset/size 20x7.5 fit perfect according to others. Do you guys think welding some of the coils would be ok? therefore no way of it to drop any lower when hitting bumps/turns? FYI: car is not lower, stock height on 20s, only back/rear rubs front is ok. Any ideas or advise would be much appreciated. Thank you CAR: 2005 Acura Tsx
Joshex
Sounds like you're in a pickle, suspension work is never cheap. I would have suggested off set as well. Try craiglisting your rims for a trade? Also you might be able to find an offset spacer, from what I've heard they are cheap. 95 Acura Integra - 5-speedNFG Pioneer FH-X700BT(2) Rockford Fosgate 12" P3AQ1200dRockford Fosgate P1652-S 6.5" components Rockford Fosgate P1572 5x7"Rockford Fosgate R400.4 95 Integra Build Here93 EJ2 Build Here

photochrisb931
Depending on the type of vehicle you have, you can get overload springs and heavy duty shocks. Buy ones to accommodate the weight of your install. This will restore the ride height to factory. Personally, I do not like air ride since the parts tend to wear out more rapidly than the metal of coil or leaf springs; hence, I removed my factory air ride and went with an overload coil and heavy duty shock on my marquis. Stiffer ride unloaded, rides perfect with my modest system and retains the height with passengers. Barstad
